Bursaries
The Math Outreach and Engagement Office offers partial bursaries for low-income families to reduce the cost of our program fees.
The child's parent or guardian should submit a separate application for each student and for each separate program.
If you are applying for a bursary, please do NOT pay for the program before receiving information on your bursary application. Refunds will not be processed for successful bursary applicants if payments have already been made. Successful applicants will be given a discount code to use at the time of payment.
Please keep in mind that while we recognize that many participants could benefit from a bursary, we can only accommodate a certain amount. We strive to ensure fairness and provide as many participants as we can with assistance, and not all applications received may be accepted. We thank you for your understanding.
Timeline
We will be accepting bursary applications as early as 2 weeks before registrations open. If you wish to be issued a bursary before registrations open, we recommend submitting your bursary application (and all supporting documents) a minimum of 1 week before the registration is set to open. We will not reserve spots. Once the registration is full, you may join the waitlist.
Apply
Applications are accepted on an on-going basis for all our programs. We will return bursary decisions within 1 week of receiving your application, but can often give a decision sooner.
Our need-based bursary program is made possible by our sponsors Manulife and TD Insurance. To learn more about our bursary programs or affinity insurance products, visit https://alumni.utoronto.ca/benefits/financial-services
